What is the barrel pressure using reduced loads of 4759, say 35 gr. with a 300 gr. remington bullet and bcr sabots with cci 209m primers and better yet maybe 37-38 gr. of 4759 and a 250 gr sst? Will these loads be pressure sensitive in cold weather, say down to zero?

Usually the heavier the bullet the more reliable the ignition. As too the pressure of that load, I don't know. Mike

This is a reduced load powder to begin with - ie it's usage in cartridge guns. I expect it will have less temp sensitivity than most other powders. Only testing will really tell.

I think the load is a tad on the light side for a 300 gr bullet. it may be good for a 250. you have your reasons for a lite load. I use the CCI 209 shotshell vs the magnum. i feel the mags are not worth the money for the little extra burn they say they offer. The shot shells work fine. if you want a lite recoil load i would try 42 grs of 4759 with the before mentioned MMP hph24 and xtp 24.

Looks like there is not much info for the reduced loads. where should I look for this information?

Last year I used some 330 hardcast flat nosed bullets that screwbolts gave me. The charge was 30 gr 4759. Gentile as heck on the shoulder and very accurate. Just like shooting my .243. I used them in our late ML season in temps as low as 15 degrees. No problems. Slapped 4 does silly with them.
