While ordering mmp sabots from our Canadian distributor I came across some vent liners for the Savage on their web sight. They are .033" and the hole is "step holed" with a larger hole at the primer side stepping down to .033" at the other end. Anybody heard of these and can anyone see any advantage to this design or is it just a sales gimmick? I have only shot factory liners with zero problems so don't intend to switch ...just curious about them: www.prbullet.com/vl.htm

:)the pr ventliners I have used in the past lasted alot longer then a factory savage vent. I don't know if they have changed since then but they were good.

PR's ventliners are all that I have used for the last 3 years or so. I just ordered a new supply of them about a year ago. They make a good ventliner and will outlast a factory one like Dave D said.
