I have been looking around for a previous post that showed someone's custom gun which, among other modifications, had a primer storage area under a floor plate in front of the trigger guard. I would like to find this thread to take another look at this. If anyone recalls the thread to which I am referring I would appreciate a link or even just the photo itself. Also, which trigger guard/floor plate would fit the accutrigger Savage MLII? Along with bedding the action, I am planning to do this to my gun and would like to find the necessary parts.

That sounds like dave d. and it is on the old forum. Perhaps he remembers which post or will post the picture again.

Since it has on-board storage I'll go $75. edge.

Since it has on-board storage I'll go $75. edge. I'm guessing he might let the foam insert go for $75. I really need a higher salary before I look at anymore of DD's guns.

That is the picture I was looking for. Thank you. Is that the gun described in your signature line?
Does anyone know which trigger guard/floor plate I should be looking for? Am I correct to assume the MLII is based on the short action Savage and the screw holes in the bottom metal assembly will align with the screw homes in my action?
Thanks again

:)thanks guys but the only thing that is left from that gun is the action ;D. E the gun is identical but for 2 differences: 1- the color & 2- is the black gun is a .45 and the green gun was a .40. Since my guns are rem 700's I can't be much help on the bottom metal but I'm sure someone here knows exactly what you need. Goodluck
