I know Jeff here has used a 1:18 twist 6 groove 510 bore. Has anyone used the .505 Pacnor 1:20 twist? and what about 6 groove compared to 8 grooves, mostly for shooting 450-1 saboted bullets, thanks in advance, Ray

8 grooves works perfect for indexing sabots if you want to do that. 2 lands/petal.

Just ordered this one last week, I have found a couple longer bullets to try in a faster twist and .05000 tighter bore.
Thank you, Jeff, for your order for: Pacnor 1-.505 16T 8L SS 1.057 shank dia., #7 contour .800 @ 26" Prefit for a SAVAGE w/ nut, breech plug per Sav 50 specs, 11 degree crown, Bead Blast finish. Regards, Penny

Regards, Penny That's great! I for one can't wait to hear how it shoots with other bullets besides the Barnes O's.
