I know theres fast, theres flat, hard hitters, hard recoilers, etc. But whats the best wt load. Best meaning accurate and reliable, with meat damage in mind also. Lets also say out to 250 yrds.

I have all ready set up several 50 cals for other people this year and I have started off with 45 grs of 4759 or 42 grs of N110 useing the 250 sst's. If one dosen't shoot the 4759 it has shot the N110.All of them has shot a one holer at 100 yds or close to it. I only set them up for 100yds past that it is up to the owner. Either one of these loads can get you out to 300 yds. The sst's are my choice in bullets,I have shot deer from 50 yds to 285 yds and haven't lost any meat.Shot 2 bucks in the front shoulder and had complete pass throughs out the opposite shoulder. Some like them and some don't.Only had one to stop inside the deer and it was an angle shot at a moving deer at 65 yds,it ended up in the front shoulder just under the skin. I would get one of these powders shooting good ( don't have to be these weight grains, have shot the 4759 from 40 t0 50 grs and the N110 from 40 to 46 grs with the 250's) then you would have a base line when you tried other powders to refer to. Hope this helps.
