Here in NC it's coolin down to high 70's by Mon. that means time to head to range. Will be experimenting with 4759, RL7, 10x, and still my fav. h4198. need load info on 4759 - best accuracy load between 42 and 48 same with RL 7 and 10x. Have been to tips and hints, but want info from those who shoot these powders. Git em comin boys the temps droppin.

I assume you are shooting 50 cal. I shoot mostly 300 gr bullets and use 43-45 gr of 4759, 43 shot the best for me but 45 was so close that I wanted the extra speed and if I remember correctly I had good results with a 63 gr. and also a 67 gr. load of R-7. I have not shot any 10x in the 50 cal.

50 cal is correct. thought about droppin back to a 250sst from the 300 sst . the 300 sst with 69gr h4198 ws very accurate but a bit much for southern WT.
From what I am gatherin here most get better accuracy from 300 vs 250
got a deal on a bunch of 250 tc bonded that i hope shoot well. Anyone with huntin experiance with this bullet

All with the .458 300 Rem. 10X-72gr Rel 7-65gr 4759-42gr 10X & 4759 were slightly more accurate.

42gr with sr 4759 hph24 pushing a 250 XTP 3 shot group I could cover with a nickel.

After searchin and testin and lookin and trying... My gun likes 42 gr. 4759, .458 300 gr bullets(most all brands and my cast seem to do very good), orange MMP sabot, dirty barrel. She originally seemed to be a mean mistress but when I found her favorite food she now seems very forgiving.
I could look for more loads but I cast 300 fn and they cost me about $.08 and are plenty accurate. And now have another MLII to play with for a while, and the Encore sooooo, how did I get this addiction? Bob
