:)well i don't need to shoot 5,10,20 shot groups to know my gun is hunting accurate but i think 3 separate groups on 2 different days in different conditions tells me i might have something. here are my last 3 groups with my 56gr of h-4198 load with a 200xtp in my .45. 200yrds a couple weeks ago: 200yrds last weekend: 100yrds last weekend: i'm getting lazy and taped some holes i shot with another gun sighting in. it was nice to get out again even if i was only there a short time.

Dave D Your thread title sounds like an offer for “lets make a deal”. Actually you only have 6-shot group at 200yds and a 3-shot group at 100yds. Trying to lump in a 100yd group with the 200yd groups is not kosher. ;D ;D Kidding/ribbing aside nice groups and shooting at either range. Ed

Great shooting Dave, as usual. I'd say nine is fine and that would make me supremely confident in the field.

Db thanks this load will do the job this year for sure. Now I know you guys know that this is not the first time I've shot this load but this is just the last nine and most recent. I love playing with these xtp's it makes me feel like I'm getting over on someone at $20 a 100 ;D.

Good shooting. It sort of helps my feelings out that it's only 56 gr, my pac nor and my converted KP1 both seem to like a load of 55 gr and my shoulder doesn't think its too much either.

Good shooting Dave. While everyone is debating on how many in a group,I think I will just settle for the one shot method. ;D Hope whatever you choose everyone gets the buck of their dreams this year. Bottom target was all luck at 300 yds.
