Rusty, I'm not sure this is an appropriate use of the bow forum, but appreciate your asking.
Russell is a commercial diver who spends most of the year offshore, in pretty poor living conditions. He dives with a tethered air supply to depths of ~300 feet, repairing/installing/removing underwater structures, jetting trenches, locating and placing cables, etc.
He routinely handles underwater equipment weighing 80 or more pounds, so he's plenty strong enough to pull a heavy bow, but told me recently that he has a torn rotator cuff (so do I) that can't heal, in part because he does such heavy work, and that prevents him from pulling his new 70# bow. I've asked him to bring the bow and his older 60# limbs when he comes to hunt next month, and we'll see what can be done.
