If you stick with the powders/loads Savage recommends are misfires a problem?

They shouldn't be as long as you use a magnum primer, a tight fitting bullet/sabot combo and perform regular maintenance on your breechplug.

the only powder i know of is IMR4227.and im not sure if it is still a savage recomended powder. any of the others, not if as nic58 said is all there.

Evidently Savage recognized the problem with IMR-4227. The three current powders in the official "recommended" list are:
Accurate XMP-5744 IMR-SR4759 Vihtavouri N110
