I'm setting up a .50 700ml and was just wanting to get some load ideas.
Thanks

13point, If you don't have your breechplug converted and are using #11's----- 120 grs T7 FFFG with a 250gr .452" XTP and harvester black sabot. You can go 130 grs but the group widens. 120 grs yields 1908fps in my rifle and 130grs yields 1980fps. Same charge with a Rem 300gr .458" HP and Orange MMP sabot also shoots excellent. 120 grs T7 FFFG and Hornady .430" 265gr FTX with Harvester smooth green sabot also shoots excellent. All three loads will group under 3/4" @100yds. The .430" 265gr FTX shoots the flattest between 100 and 200 yds. Good Shooting!

Long story short, my dad has lost most of his eye sight, so I have his and another one I'm trying to get my hands on. Yes I will have the plug changed to a vent liner design. I'm leaning toward the 209 because I have a few boxes to burn up.
Thanks for the input

My 700ML shot anything I put down the barrel including patched round balls into tiny groups as long as I used 80 grains of 3f Goex or Pyrodex under it. The T/C Cheap Shots were MOA over either. I used Remington #11 caps.

I use the 200gr T/C shockwave with 100 grains of T7 pellets....excellent groups and shoots very flat out to 150 yards.
