I'm looking for any feedback from anyone who has been to "Wilderness Hunting Lodge" in Tennessee. My son and I are considering a hog hunt this March and are looking for feedback before booking a hunt. Weapons considered are crossbow or Savage ML and hunting from a blind. Thanks for any input, BOBinIN

Bob, some friends of mine went and they say they won't go back again. They each killed two hogs and that was great but the said they stayed in an old house a couple of miles from where they hunted. no lodge It was dry but that was about all they could say about it. Also the guides quote unquote opened the gate and pointed to where each of the four of them should go. He also said he had people walk up on him twice. There are no stands, you are pretty much on your own.All I know is what he told me, Rusty

Hogs can be hunted year round in TN on private land. I believe the "Lodge" though is a canned hunt where they are in side a fence. There are a few operations like that here. I believe in fair chase no matter what the game.
