I would like to be absolutely sure which of the bolt action Knight MLs has the best breach plug design for use with BH209, or is best suited for use with BH209. I know this question has been asked and answered more than once, but I wish to be certain of it and I do not recall the answer.
Thanks, Arthur.

:)art i have a disc elite that is bh friendly but i'm pretty sure know that with a drill press you can make any one of them bh friendly.its just a matter of getting the powder closer to the primer.if your powder colum is to long just recess the plug and while your at it install a ventliner.that said i really like my disc elite...

The latest model that they did not bring out before their collapse was supposed to be BH209 friendly. The Extreme Ultimate Slam. HP Muzzleloading was wringing out the proto-type. Perhaps it will make it's debut when the reorganization and production begins. Good Luck!

artjr338wmAny Knight with a new Lehigh Generation II breech plug (an after market Knight breech plug) will shoot BH great. I am shooting BH with any primer i want to use. Lehigh and Western both still hold the line on the CCI-209M or Fed 209A. Another thing you can do is convert and install a Lehigh vent liner in any of the Knight Plugs and it will shoot BH just fine. Have you looked at this thread.... dougsmessageboards.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talk&action=display&thread=4882This Lehigh vent liner may be on of the biggest single simple steps forward in the life and shooting times of any brand breech plug.

Just got my lehigh gen II plugs last week, shot one yesterday in my SS extreeme and I agree that it shoots BH very well. I'll be trying out the other plug I got on my blued extreeme tomorrow (got to work today ). I'll let you know how it does then.

Thanks to all a great deal for sharing your knowledge and educating me.
I have been kicking around buying a SS Knight Extreme for some time, just have not made up my mind yet.
Thanks to all and be well, Arthur.

took my blued extreeme Sunday, if anything it shot cleaner, the bolt closed easier (maybe had some teflon tape on the front shoulder of the SS sat). I had given up on BH and basically thought T7 did just as well. Not so sure now, got to play some more to decide. Oh, 70 gr by weight, .44 bullets, 265 horn, and 240 remington cl (harv green sabot) and shot some xtp 250 45s (havester black sabot) everything shot very well. Before I had to swab between shots, not now just load and shoot.
