Well, I am getting a huge amount of pictures the last 2 times out. Seems the same family group of deer.
Last time I checked, I added 10 lbs of corn and a punch of apple peels and cores on the ground and a bunch of chicken and beef scraps and bones too.
Trying to catch more foxes and yotes.
Gonna retrieve the chip today and see if the new bait helped out.

Neat pictures. It looks like you got a regular at your feeding station. Did you give her a name yet? The last picture I got on my trail cam was an orange house cat.

No name. I will think about that though. If these deer are an indicator of how they are surviving our deep snow and cold temps, I'd say they are doing quite well.
I have only been putting tid bits out there for them to eat. I do not want to create a dependency....got to keep them toughened up and self sufficient.
The last batch had 100 pix of these deer! They tripped the camera every 30 seconds for a LONG time. Can't bring myself to change the setting to a greater interval. Afraid I may miss something.
Batteries have been great. 3 weeks out in brutal temps, over 200 pix and no sign of low batteries. PLUS, the flash was used in all but about 12 pix. That's good I think.
Like I said in another post, I want 10 more!

Wilmsmeyer, also meant to say I loved the photos in the snow. Guess I have to stop being a wimp and get my camera back out in the woods.

Thanks for the tip northny. Those are some nice pix! I will keep the flash thing in mind this summer/fall. Makes sense.
Funny you mention mounting the camera too high. All my chicken wing bones were gone today but no pix as to why!!
