I've heard of people using bondo for barrel channels but not for actions. I don't think it's strong enough to bed actions or recoil lugs. Most here would recommend an epoxy. I'll let them.

I used Dura Glass on my tuperware stock (that I never completed) But I would recomend getting the epoxy bedding material made for the job...

Devcon Plastic epoxy # 10110 is the best I have ever used

I have used Devcon plastic steel and JB Industro-Weld, both are epoxy resin. Bondo is Polyester resin and I don't know of anyone who has ever used it for bedding.

The Devcon Plastic Steel as said.Its the best out there.Consistancy of peanut butter,at least 40 min. of work time and expensive($35.00 at least)but worth it.

All of my centerfires were done with brownells accura glass gel. The kit has the two part mix plus glass fiber. Pot life is fairly short. Wayles
