A while back I made a purchase of a mini-lathe to work on different projects. One project involved making a tool for cleaning the mated barrel surface to the BP. This was always a difficult area to access so the tool I made would fit nicely and do the trick. Problem was producing the right size-sanding disc for it. So I elected to try to make a kind of stamping die. It’s not perfect but produces the results I wanted. This is not to impress anyone so no compliments are expected. This is to encourage others if you have ideas to explore, give it a go. You might surprise yourself on what you can do if you set your mind to it. The deciding factor is what you want to spend on tools. Onto another Winter Project. DBinNY Not aluminum this time but hard stainless steel. Cracked one carbide/steel bit so this one cost $4.50 to make. Basically scrap parts acquired from finished jobs again. Love it when a plan comes together. Ed
