On page 19 of the Spring Natchez April -May Flyer under the Leatherwood scopes it say" today's leading modern in-line muzzle loading authority- Toby Bridges. Boy someone sure yanked their chain!

Mike, Till they had their falling out, you would have gotten the same message from SAVAGE, he was their golden boy. There is little doubt that Bridges has fired more rounds in-line than anyone else. Next time you talk to Joe DeGrande, ask him who developed the book loads for Savage. Good Luck, Marty

I would have to put Doc White and Tony Knight much higher then ol TB. Maybe they have been promoted to next to God status.

rossman,
With out Tony Knight, would we have in-line rifles? My vote would go to him as number 1

TB and his kind are first and fore most in it for the $$$ and in that I do not blame or fault them one bit as I honestly doubt I would be any different.
That said I lost all respect for TB when after he had his so called "Incident" with his Savage and went on a bashing campaign of Savage when I am of the strong belief he knew better and TB as much as anyone should have known there is no stronger and safer ML design out there than a 10ML-II.
TK IMHO is the person who is directly responsible for and should get most if not nearly all the credit above all others for giving us the modern inline ML which BTW is a design who's concept is actually over 300 years old. With out TK and Knight MLs early successes we would not be enjoying modern MLs as we know and love them today.
