Hey fellas, A friend of mine just purchased a Knight Disc 50 cal that uses the orange plastic jackets and he was wondering if the gun could handle 150grs of powder?
Thanks-Buddy

For years I used 150 grains WEIGHED FFFg genuine black powder (Goex) and 250 grain bullets at about 2000 fps.
No problems. Same gun and same discs.
No breech plug wear and no other issues.
These were the beast loads before smokeless came around and offered the consistency that subs never could. I'm talking under 10 fps spreads and great accuracy.
It was absolutely necassary to pull the plug after 8-10 shots because if you didn't, you may get a seizure with this gun/plug.
DO NOT put any confidence, due to my experience, in corralating this with BP subs.....I never used them much. This is with real BP FFFg.
