Check your manual for max loads. You are safe in my opinion following what it says for 777. I have been shooting 200 and 250grn bullets with 140grns of powder By volume in Knight Disc Elites.

Thanks grouse, but I don't have a manual I do know some have experimented with this stuff. I haven't used any more than 100 grs and really don't see a reason to go more but I kinda like the big boom ya no

have you used safely with good accuracy. What bullet? I use 110-115gn BH with 300gn bullets. Both 300gn Remington HP's/Orange mmp sabot and 300gn XTP's/BCR sabots work well in my Triumph. What rifle are you shooting? Zen

I am shooting a 700 Rem.I also found a manual online which states that I should be able to handle 120 grs with a 300 gr bullet. I have been buying Hornady 250 and 300gr and black Havester .451-.452 sabots.I look forward to warmer temps!

IMHO, if you have been infected with" Magnumitus", It will be necessary to use the the most you can safely, according to you Owners Manual, to satisfy this infection! If you are fortunate enough to have not been infected with the dreaded "Magnumitus" disease, then you will find great results with charges of 80 gr V BH209 and up. ;D

I had to drill out the breechplug from .028 to .035 and go to CCI mag primers for consistent ignition. Both the Remington and the Ruger have similar ignition systems/slamfire. Some have designed new breechplugs and bolts for the Rem700 that seem like the answer for both ignition and blowback problems that plague these models. You've got a good shooter....Zen
