Has anyone loaded the 35 t/c with any of the 140 grain hornady 357 flex tip pistol bullets? I have used the 158's and they shoot real well and fold up the white tails. These should be flatter yet...

This bullet may not with stand the speed that you can push it to. On the other hand it might make a great varmint bullet

I plan on trying them in a 357max rifle barrel I am having made. With our high power handguns that are extremely accurate, we usually take a neck/high shoulder/spine shot to break down deer quickly with Nosler Ballistic tips. So if a 95gr .243, 100gr .264, 120gr 7mm, and a 125gr .308 BT can do it, the 140gr .357 ought to work too! We shall see. Jay

With the speeds I'm getting out of my 15" .357 max barrel with 180 gr XTPs, The only 140gr bullet I'd try might be the 140 gr Barnes. Any thing less then all copper might not hold up.
