I like those colored targets.......but they sure eat up a color ink cartridge quickly!

IMHO, a simple paper plate is close to a perfect sight in target as one can find for both scopes and iron sights (plastic if you must). If you need a reference point to aim at simply use a sharpie for a small dot or x to aim at. I have found that it is easy to just center the cross hairs and let it fly. With open sights, center the sights on the round object and let it fly. The human eye just loves to center in a circle. In my part of the country that I hunt, non of the live targets I shoot at have multicolored precise aiming point inscribed in them so the nice round paper plate works fer me. ;D Center of mass in the correct location and let it go. www.jamescalhoon.com/ will have a very nice target free for the printing shown under their "Informative Articles" page. This is a full page target with fine 1" grid with 9, 1" open squares for aiming reference, recording groups, what ever. www.gunnersden.com/index.htm.free-rifle-target.html has a very printer friendly( needs very little ink, I am thrifty), FREE sight in target for those that find paper plates to offensive. Used plates come with there own marks and open up a whole new world of recycling. Ken

If you like online targets that are available and can survive without color, print one and photocopy a bunch. Check your PMs Ken.
