What brand of #11 and Musket Cap are the most reliable?

I've found that RWS are the most dependable then Remingtons but I'm pretty sure they are repackaged RWS. CCI magnums are pretty hot but they tend to not go off if left on the nipple too long in damp weather. You didn't say what type of rifle you are using,but on my sidelock .58 I would always drip candle wax around the cap on the nipple to seal it in inclement weather. Don't forget to scratch off the excess wax atop the cap. They never misfired for me even in a driving rain. Good Shooting!

RWS 1st, CCI 2nd, they are always dependable. The worst I've ever used were Remington, back in the early 80s, have avoided them ever since. 10 ga
