50 cal.
Season is over.
Looking forward to some bench work.
GENERALLY SPEAKING, are you finding one more accurate than the other? For kenetic energy purposes, I'm thinking I'd prefer to shoot the 300. Also, any comments on the 250 FTX Finally, any accuracy comments on the 250, 300 SST? Yes, I'm partial to the RED TEAM! Looking forward to some bench time. *My plan is to find that MOTHER LOAD and have a turret built for my scope.......say out to 300-350 yards.

With the range goal you stated and the bullets you listed, you may find love with the 300gr SST

since you are partial to the "RED TEAM" alot like the 300 grn SSTs due to sturdier construction at higher speeds. both are very accurate with right load and fit. If i recall right the Savage was developed using a 300 grn bullet( XTP i beleave). but the 250 grn will make it easier to get to 300- 350 yards with a little less drop.

Get some of everything you may want to use and try them. Only your ML knows what it likes. They are can be individually finicky.
