Tried a 325ftx load yesterday70 gr h4198 black crush rib. 15 degree temp. it held a 3 inch group@150 yards. My question is the powder cup on the sabot was almost turned inside out.Is that normal or when it gets warmer will i lose all accuracy This is by far the best shooting load i have found.

Powder cup being rolled out and up is not an indication of failure. It might possibly indicate problems in warmer times so you should check on a warmer range trip, but that is definitely not an indication of sabot failure. Failure is shredded and ripped sabots. What you described is just a bit of distortion of the sabot as it left the bore which is after the sabot has completed its job.

That was my exact same load last year. It shot good even in summer temps. I have many loads that roll the sabot inside out, and do not see a difference with temp, but of course many variables come into play. Such as, bore size, condition, and barrel temp just to name a few. That load times 2500+ fps in my gun and shoots awesome, only problem was when it got cold I could not get it loaded down the barrel. The consensus was likely due to cold sabot and long bearing surface of the bullet. Some said the bullet fragments at high speed, but that happens to just about all except for Barnes Bo's and all copper. Good luck. Jay
