Mossberg Youth 243-Horrible trigger

I don't remember the model number of my Grand daughter's Mossberg 243, but it has the youth stock that has 2 or 3 sections that can be taken off or added to fit. The trigger on this rifle is horrible! It has such a heavy pull weight, it is hard for me to pull, let alone an 11 yo girl.

Does anyone on the board know if there is a replacement trigger that will work on the Mossberg?

sorry boar hog i haventt found anything but i know my dad had a single shot and i had my local gunsmith work the trigger and he got it down to 2.5LBs. and only cost me 35 bucks at the time.

AAAAAHHHH found one. Rifle Basix makes a trigger for Mossbergs, but since i dont know model, here is web page which has their number you can call for more info.

Thanks for the info. I sure hope they make one to fit. Can't remember the model right now, but I am thinking it is mod 100 youth model. I noticed a local sports shop had them listed in thier latest sale flier. I will try the www link you sent.
