Thought I would give some Hornady 250 gr SST sabots a try out of my .50 cal Knight MK-85. I have been shooting a rather lightweight 180 gr polymer tip with 100 grains of Triple 7 FFF and my last chrono readings awhile back were just over 2000 fps just in front of the muzzle.
Just wondering how much powder everyone's settled on for their loads? I realize I'll have to tweak it for my ML but I was hoping I could find a starting point to go from. Thanks.

90 gr FFg T7 and a Rem #11 cap work well in my MK-85 using 250 gr XTP. If I were to use the SST, I would start there and work up to see how it groups. I shot several deer using 85 gr FFFg T7 in a Ruger 77/50 and the 250 gr SST. Worked each time.
