I have switched to 230 grain bullet and 100 grain pyrodex. can anyone tell me how tight of a group I should expect to shoot at 100 yards. I am having difficulty understanding what is realistic. I would think I should get a 2 inch group using a 3x10 scope. I recently switched from a 300 grain sabot as it killed my scope. Can anyone please advise me on on distances I should be able to shoot acuratly such as 150 yards and 200 yards. Perhaps I am unrealistic in my expectations. Help please as the season opens in a few days.

I have a lot of questions to ask you before I give too much advice. Because you 'only have a few days'-I would suggest shooting 250-grain shockwaves. with 100 grains of Blackhorn 209. If you have access to ribbed sabots I would use those, they can help improve accuracy--at least they did in my Triumph. Not sure about your scope...mine kept loosing until a good friend tightened it down with 30-pound of pressure and added 'blue locktite" I use CCI M primers. Because of you time constraints I would shoot it in two-inches high at 100-yards and keep my shots to 140 yards or so. It will take more time then you have to get it shooting well beyond that. Hope this helps, Have a great day! Dave
