Just curious and I'm not even sure if the right bullets exist, but is anyone shooting a blackpowder 45 sabotless? If so could you share some details?

Sure, A White Super 91 with a 460 grain conical and 70 grains of Swiss blackpowder is so accurate it gets boring. Just load and shoot. I can shoot about twenty times with out swabbing once. They knock the socks off of the deer. The trajectory is a bit loopy, but not a big deal if you put the time in.

A guy over on Modern posted some very nice groups sabotless. Just depends on the bore to bullet fit.

ohioguy I think there are actually several people doing exactly what you are asking. If you go to: www.modernmuzzleloader.com/phpBB/Then PM 'busta' - he will fill you in on his exploits - he has been shooting a lot of sabotless.

Thanks for the info, at least it is being done and there is someone to hit up for tips and information. I'll just take my gun to Dave W and let him figure it out for me.
