Hi Guys - I am interested in upgrading my muzzleloader. I currently am using a Taditions Buck Hunter but cleaning it is a pain, always having to disassemble it. What do you guys suggest?? I am looking in the $500 price range. Thanks for your input:)

T/C Triumph is probably the best right now.

I agree 100-percent, bought one this spring and have used it on groundhogs all summer. If you want something a little fancy try the Bone Collector version. Mines a regular Triumph with weathersheild and I love it. Should be able to pick one up for around $400 or less. Have a great day! Dave

My take, -Savage with a Pacnor barrel if you can afford it. -If you want to shoot conicals a White Super 91. -If you don't want to spend a lot a Knight Elite is a great gun for the money right now. -For a open sighted mountain rifle where you cannot use 209's a Kahnke is a great rifle. The older ones with Shaw barrels shoot conicals and sabots very well.
