Hello, all. I am new to this thread, and I have spent a couple hours searching around for a specific answer. While I’m sure it has been addressed, I figured I would just ask the question again.
CO requires sabotless projectiles with a .50 cal minimum diameter, and prohibits the use of smokeless and pelletized powders.
I own a Savage ML-10II in .50 cal. Savage will not provide any load data within the bounds of a legal CO elk muzzleloader load.
Can anyone provide a safe load that fits these requirements?
Thank you.

Have you looked at the fury or Thor bullets?

My savage will shoot a 330gr powerbelt ELR over 105 gr volume loose tripple 7 fffg about 1.5 at 220 yards. Should be CO legal. Any load that's safe to shoot in a regular muzzleloader will be safe in a savage ml.

Sharing specific load data online carries inherent legal and safety risks. Each firearm, powder type, and projectile combination can react differently, and providing inaccurate or incomplete information could lead to serious injury or equipment damage.
