Scope Base Torque

What is the torque setting for the #6 base screws on the savage 10ml2? Are using blue loctite?

#6-48 screws - 15 in-lbs, and use blue or purple loctite for best results.

I tried the purple years ago and it came loose every time. I had to use the blue to hold them tight.
