Winter here is always a great time to take the weekends and do a bunch of reloading related stuff. I like taking all the cases from the past year and tumble them, deprime and resize, trim, flare if pistol stuff, and reprime. Jars and Jars of perfectly prepped cases ready for powder and heads. Just finished the small .380 project yesterday. Spent all morning today, depriming, sizing, trimming, de-crimping a pile of .223 brass from various sources. Then primed them and put them up in a large jar. I like having a large number of cases ready to go in case I want to try a new load. Just set up a seating die, throw some powder and make ammo. Off season is fun for the grunt work of reloading. It's fun to get everything almost there but not commit to a loaded round. Add a warm wood stove and a curled up dog close by and it is very satisfying when it's cold out.
