Boy this is turning into an adventure in itself. With the new laptop there is no way I’m going to get the program working. After email correspondence with RSI they suggest I try another program they have that may work. Okay I bought the program and it’s in the mail. Now if for some reason this doesn’t work then I have to try Windows 10 32bit program. My PT program is 32bit and will not work on 64bit windows 10. Getting quite the education with computers. answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-windows_install-winpc/converting-windows-10-64-bit-to-32-bit-windows-10/766810ab-6ae7-40c0-9428-c7ed1edc3768Now on a good note I managed to unlock my old laptop and run a diagnostic program. It recommended some changes that I made. Reinstalled the PT program and all appears to be working well again for the moment. So, I’m not totally dead in the water. But I want to get the newer laptop working because of its longer battery life and hopefully less hiccups, chuckle. As you’ve probably noticed I can be relentless when going after a goal and I hate being denied reaching a goal.

New computers and old programs can be a royal pain. The backwards compatible issue has kicked my butt several times.

New computers and old programs can be a royal pain. The backwards compatible issue has kicked my butt several times. Oh, I hear you loud and clear. I imagine I still have a few butt kicking sessions waiting for me and a trip or two around the bend. I swear companies make changes just so you have to buy more new components or programs. The bottom line is how much are you willing to pay?
