Had another good shoot this year. Good to see a lot of old friends and some new faces. I didn't shoot this year, but my brother used a gun I put together for my trip back to Iowa. Somehow between our initial sight-in on Friday and the shoot on Saturday, the zero moved about 1.5 feet at 500 yards. No idea what happened. But I guess that's the kind of thing that happens when you finish a gun on Wednesday for a shoot on Saturday. He still would have probably finished with 9-10 hits, but I neglected to mention I dialed the scope between rounds to correct zero while he continued to hold off to compensate. I stopped by when he was almost done with next round, and he was scratching his head because it was back to dead on--oops. At least the gun looked good... Here's 100yard sight in group from Friday (two shots). 325gr XLD, H4895, 3080 FPS.
