I guess I have this phobia about walking around with a crossbow at full draw and hitting something sharp against the cables or string! I walk through briers and such in the dark on my way to my stand... I have not used broadheads yet, but I just have a hard time adjusting When I pull my bow up the tree it bangs a little bit, sometimes it gets caught on a branch, etc. At least the Stryker can easily be let down without shooting, but it is a bit of a pain.....I guess that I will just have to try it...if I can't get used to it I will send it off to Ebayland edge.

Personally, I draw mine after I am in the stand. I still think they are a major PITA to navigate through the woods, and brush, that's why I am going back to a compound this year.

Edge, This is a problem with x-bows in general. THIS very problem is a factor why many x-bows are being designed with narrow widths. The Swiss x-bow, Strykeforce/Desert Stryker, etc are examples of this smaller design. Your x-bow is BIG and has BIG performance. It is more of a beanfield x-bow than a carbine type x-bow. A Strykeforce or Desert Stryker would be a good compliment to your x-bow arsenal.

I will offer to take that cumbersome crossbow off your hands for $150.
