It's been just over 13 months since my son and daughter in law presented us with a beautiful grandaughter. A couple of months ago they told us there was another one on the way. That was great. A couple of days ago my son phone us at the cabin to tell us that they just got home from having an ultra sound. The doctor told them that the BABIES were fine  . They're in shock and grandma and I were a little surprised but there are twins on my wifes side so she said it's here fault  . Now were excited. It's a little overwhelming for the kids and it's going to mean some extra work, but WHAT A BLESSING.

RAF Okay you just got a heads-up for more Grandkids on the way so Grandpa can get in better shape for additional activity when they arrive. ;D Here’s wishing for a healthy pregnancy and Grandkids. Ed

Thanks Ed. The kids arrived at the cabin late this afternoon. First thing was they showed us pictures of the ultra sound. The repeated that the doctors said the babies are in real good shape. Doctors know the gender but mom and dad don't want to know. Their due date has been moved up by a couple of weeks which puts it on my wifes mothers birthday. That would be a coincidence since my grand daughter was born on my mothers birthday.

A friend of mine had 2 awesome kids. One in 8-9th grade and the other in 5-6th grade. They were all done. Then...whoops...twins. These 2 boys are now in 6th grade and they are the best kids. The other 2 are in college.
Yeah, twins can be a big surprise. But everything is good. 2 guys to drag out deer. 1 to mow..the other weedeating. 2 woodchuck killers. And the fun of watching them grow up in the country....on a farm. Dad now has some much needed help.
Congrats and good luck to your "kids". It's all a good thing.

Must be the season for twins, my youngest daughter is due Oct 10, a boy and a girl. We just got grandkid #5, a boy born to my son and his wife. She was having problems and the doctor decided to induce labor a month early on June 12th. It was a bit touch and go for a while but after 2 weeks in intensive care was able to bring him home. Here is grandma already spoiling him last night,

Man, if I'd have known how much fun grandkids were, I'd have had them first.
All five just came to visit for 3 weeks, and just left. Whew. I now know why parenting is for the young!!
But what fun!
Congrats to all!
