Ok l shot yesterday on a level range. 3 shot groups the 200ssts done best with a 11\16 group. 250 ssts in a one inch and lukes 310s in a 11\4. So with some tweaking on the ff dies n powder charges l should get a bit better.

Sounds like your getting there! Do not be shy on the action screw torque. My 10ML in a bedded factory synthetic likes about 45 and my 112 likes about 55.

I like the Devcon putty mainly because it is "milspec". It's been tested every which way and they will tell you the ATSM test that was used to come up with the data. You can use different ATSM tests to come up with different numbers so look close when comparing. If you need it in a hurry every WW Grainger usually has it in stock. I like the aluminum putty over the steel, then the titanium has a bit higher compressive strength. Midway is now selling the steel putty in 2oz packs.
In the early days (like the late 70s, early 80s) we were pretty much stuck with using resins from the fiberglass industry, that is why the term "glass bedded" is still used today even though what we use is not related.

Shot lukes 310s again today with looser bullet fit. Shot a 11\4 4 shot group but 3 shots were in a 3\8 in group. I think l can live with that.
