Earlier this week, 6/22/09, military.com announced that there was a new policy that US forces would no longer persue militants in or near Afgahan homes in order to limit civilian casualties. Wow, what an enlightened policy! We are fighting non-uniformed militant combatants who hide in the “civilian” community, create stockpiles of weapons in homes, mosques, and schools and now our illustrious leaders have decided that we should not attack them near homes!!! I know Obama has never held a job, has never met a payroll, has never accomplished anything useful in his life except win elections, but even for him this is a new level of stupidity!! This is no joke, it was announced in Military.com on June 22nd. What kind of idiots do we have in the White House that would commit our soldiers to such lunacy that is sure to cause a significant increase in American casualties? Do we have the “New York Times” dictating foreign policy and military strategy? If these idiots were in charge in the early 1940s we would be speaking German today. (Wait, isn't this some of the same members of the enlightenment that brought us, “press one for English”?) Don't believe it? See for yourself: www.military.com/news/article/June-2009/new-rule-no-fighting-near-afghan-homes.html?ESRC=airforce-a.nl

You have it wrong!
This is Obama's exit strategy. If you make the no fighting zone around homes big enough then the boys come home because they can't fight anywhere!

During the Korean conflict Gerneral McAuthur was prevented by President Truman from crossing the yallou (Misspelled). This resulted in McAuther being relieved. I personally hate misions which are limited to chasing the enemy to some safety zone and stopping. Stopping McAuther didn't stop the Chineese from crossing the border and killing many of our military people. What about law breakers here in the states. If we can get back home after we rob a bank does that mean we are safe? I am afraid that some of our leaders have elevators that only goes up part way. Dumb, Dumb doubleDumb.

As more of these mind-boggling revelations come to light about Obama, I wonder if he will get re-elected, or if the political situation has gotten so bad that there isn't anyone better to replace him (as far as candidates that is).

Oh, I wouldn't doubt but what this no-fighting zone will soon be about as Global as 'warming' is.....
and Pete, yeah, I think he will be reelected, by a landslide. It won't matter one iota what he does. It's very clear not more than 10% of America is paying the least bit of attention to any of his policies or results, including the National TV and Media. They just like the style. He's a shoo in. King, if he wants it, all he has to do is ask............ The degree to which I am in the minority continues to surprisingly surprise me daily!

Buckrub, as much as I would like to say you are full of hot air I am afraid you are absolutely right. The voters in this country are blinded by offers of free goodies from the government and refuse to think about the price. "After all, it's not coming from me", they seem to think.
Today's American is a dumbed down version of his ancestors that made this country great. If you have any doubts as to how stupid the average citizens is today, watch this excerpt from one of Jay Leno's last shows:
It is eye opening. And the scary thing is, these people actually vote!! I guess we could just move to Honduras. Apparently they still care about "rule of law" down there.
