For those who have already asked for bullets and payed (checks will be cashed tomorrow morning) they are going in the mail tomorrow. After those go out I have 600 left in this run and have another 600 started that should be done in a week or two. You can get them in 50ct boxes for $100 (unless you bought your own jackets) plus shipping and handling. If you want some shoot me an e-mail with quantity and whether you want them .452 or .458: keith@kineticperformancellc.com
Right now I have 302gn bullets only. They came out to 302gn instead of 300gn because I added .050" to the jacket to ensure the lead didn't overflow the nose; it was causing to many blems in the test runs. There will be some heavier options available in a month or so because I'm mailing out the 344gn and 415gn versions for testing tomorrow.
Thanks for all the interest and support I've received so far.

Why get worried about an even number? 300....302...310. Whatever works. EVERYONE make bullets in the "common" weight because that is what the masses wants. Just make 'em work I say. 297, 305 whatever. I assume you have 50 in the mail headed my way? Been fun watching you make these.

Do you think this break open would shoot those size bullets? 45 cal Douglas with 1:20 twist 26" heavy barrel. If so I just may keep it. It's up for sale on the for sale site.

415's at 900fps and grab a can for it. Urban deer slayer.

No doubt it will shoot them well, but I bet recoil becomes violent when much speed is added into the equation.

Rambler,
I don't see why they wouldn't. I have shot them them at 2400fps out of my 1-24" .451 with good success. That gun weighs 9# 15oz and 60gn under a 300gn bullet gets punchy.

That would be sick. I looked at a can for the SML a while back but couldn't make myself commit.

I've often wondered when some heavier bullets would be available for the 45's! Years ago I was shooting resized(smooth) rem 405gr bullets at 2100fps with good accuracy and recoil wasn't bad at all. I thought they were more pleasant to shoot than a typical 60gr h4198 and a 300 grainer.

Rambler: Are you going to cut that stock down using that chain saw blade. Those break opens can be handy.
