Today was a productive day at the range out back. Finally, finally got this break open half way sighted in with an established load and bullet combo. Last Friday went to the public range and quickly discovered my scope mount was totally loose, very loose. Came home and re-did everything by the book, slowly and methodically with blue loctite this time...no finger polish. Any way gathered everything up this morning for a little target action. Shot #1 on the first left hand target was high and to the left. Clicked the scope 10 to right and 10 down. The rest is history. Hope I can say the same for any deer I throw down on this coming season. 100 yards 100 yards Actually #2 is where #5 is and vice versa... High dollar redneck target table:

Great Shooting, gun looks a lot like my NEF Montana .45.
You might want to change the order of the powder you have listed for your duplex, I assume you mean 10gr BD/ 50gr IMR4198, but I'd hate to see someone follow it to the letter and blow up their gun, or worse.

Good gun and nice shooting. And that shooting bench, nice. I just shoot off the dog box on the back of the truck, lol, it is steady.

Thanks appreciate the comments. I have been really pleased with the gun, with just a minimal upgrades like several Arrowhead style front sealing breech plugs with tungsten bushings, a dual form swinglock die and an economically priced Nikon Prostaff 5 3.5-14-50MM it shoots very good, probably better than the shooter lol.
When I go to sell it should make for a good option.

Steve I think you've made it. Douglas barrel? Think my pilot eyes can barely make that out. Good luck/skill . Nothing much going on with the larger bucks here in NE AR. Steve
