I've got one on mine, but I bedded the stock. I'm still testing it but it seems to be shooting pretty good so far. Only shot out to 60 yards so far. Weather around here sucks right now. Been raining since Friday. Just got my ML about 2 months ago.

Target above with sabot and 200gr SST (100yds). Sabotless was good too. My stock was not bedded, only the barrel channel floated. I did add lots of nuts and bolts to the buttstock for balance. Many good posts on how to bed and stiffen up the factory stock. I almost went that route but purchased a Boyds instead.

Guy at our club used the OEM stock, not sure what or if any modifications were made, but shoots sub MOA with sabots and 40 cal bullets.

A guy at our club uses the factory stock and his rifle shoots great..he said he just added some weight to it and balanced it..he used none expanding foam and lead buckshot...seems to have worked for him...he had a Douglas barrel on it

Mine wears the factory plastic one also. I have a #7 contour PacNor on it and I had to hog out a bunch of material from the forearm. I used it as a test ginny pig. I bedded a hollow aluminum tube for a ramrod holder, then bedded the entire forearm and action . It is actually pretty scraggily looking now but shoots outstanding and is a hunting gun, so looks don't matter to me. But it works for cheap!

thanks for the replies. I will be using it for hunting. It does seem real front heavy compared to my other guns.

If you take the time to properly bed them, add some weight to the butt and stiffen the forend, they will shoot right alongside any of the aftermarket stocks. I have done several for customers and they are very happy with the results.

I bed action and float barrel and "epoxy plant" a piece of graphite fishing rod in the foreend to stiffen. Works great. 10
