Found a 700 ml that I want to convert to a smokeless and it has some corrosion on the exterior backside of the bolt. The center piece is the worse but the actual bolt has some pitting also. Sure this was caused from not cleaning after shooting black powder/pyrodex. It's a stainless model also. ANyone have a line on replacements? Looks like I found some blued ones and not sure if they'd work. I don't think it will effect the function of the gun, but I am picky. Anyone?

Midway sells CM bolt bodies but you can also just blast and coat it.

What's a cm bolt body? Couldn't find it on the site. Not sure what you can coat the entire bolt with that wouldn't effect the way it operates. Is there someone that does this?

I did find that one but it is blued and I have stainless. ALso, that one doesn't include the center button in the back which is what's the worse part of the corrosion.

I don't know what you are talking about. There is a cocking piece (attached to firing pin and spring) and the shroud (wrapped around the cocking piece). To me it doesn't matter if they are CM or SS because they get coated the same. If you need replacement parts you might not get to be too picky as OEM for the 700ML are getting harder to come by.

The 700 Centerfire Bolt Shroud is the same as the 700 ML. Arrowhead Sporting Goods (Luke) sells an aftermarket Cocking Piece. The part # is below. I would get one from Luke. SS Bolts are very hard to find. I would find a parts gun as it would probably be cheaper in the long run.
ASG029-Precision Machined Cocking Piece for 700ML--$30
