My parents have always had some trees and they have around 4-6, I don't keep track. Last weekend we were out there and I picked a good amount of apples. They have one granny smith and the other one I never remember the name. I know which ones are meant for cooking but not it's name and the ones meant for eating are awesome! They have a bumper crop almost every year providing no hail early in the year. So today I made caramel apple crisp for my family. Usually when my mom makes it, the dish is not sweet enough for me so today I added a little more brown sugar and little more caramel. oh and a little more cinnamon. Looking forward to my efforts. I might be making another run to the farm to get some more apples.

Both are hard cider. The small one is called cyser. Its ready for bottling. Honey and apple cider aka apple mead. The large one was just started using a yeast made for ciders. Im starting a cran-apple cider today too.
