Thanks for sharing I was looking for this information I had read in the past that my Gen 1 Encore has a larger bore and the TMZ with yellow sabot is recommended I've shot this combination the last 2 years over BH209 and it's accuracy is better than anything I've ever tried. However it's a pain to load and very difficult in the stand to reload. I was hoping to find another sabot combination that would load easier and shoot as good looks like I'm stuck with the yellow sabot that comes with them.

Harvester makes a crushed rib sabot specific for the TMZ boat tail bullet, so you're not totally stuck H35045BYR www.harvestermuzzleloading.com/products/crush-rib-sabots

Vello 31154 Walnut Point Lane. Ocean View Delaware 19970 I'll get them out for you today. You probably already know, but the BLUE sabots are for flat base bullets. They are from some 290gr T-EZ bullets I shot with a couple different kinds of sabots through my Ultimate. Edit note: ourway77................... you have a PM with a tracking number. Good shoot'n

Barnes yellow sabots for boattails are the largest, the next smallest are Harvester yellow CRs. The smallest are Knight Blue EZ load for boatails.

I can't remember the exact sabot but I believe its an MMP. Some blue sabots may shoot boattail bullets, but as you can see in the photo below, these are from the Barnes T-EZ package. I tried shooting the 290's with different sabots from my BP Xpress, which is why I had the sabots laying around. Oh, I couldn't get them to shoot to my expectations, which bums me, as I love shooting Barnes.
