nmlra spring nationals have came to a end and my best calculations bestill , greg and blake sent appx 400 parker bullets and blackhorn loads down range from june 13th to june 20th. WOW! we had a great week of shooting but weather was hot, humid and heavy rain and yes goofy wind but all went great. my brother greg again put a beating on me but i held my ground. inline hunter aggregate which is paper 50 yds ,100yds ,200yds,steel 200m chicken and 300m pig perfect score is 170 - 15x greg posted 170 - 8x 1st place, my good friend blake posted 167 - 4x 3rd place and myself struggled 160 - 1x for 6th highlight of inline agg was gregs 200 yd 8 shot group match 310 silouhette is 3 chickens 200m 3 pigs 300m 3 turkeys 420 yds 3 rams 500 yds 12 shots and greg scored 12 , myself 11 and blake 10 match 321 500 yd creedmore is 15 shoots and max score is 75 greg scored 75 , myself 74 and blake 73 another highlight photo greg with 15 shots on white in 45 minutes and score sheet no sighters start and shoot 15 needless to say we had a blast and guns and trigger men performed well . i absolutely love this event and cant wait till fall to roll around. met some fantastic people this week and if youve never came to firing line at friendship and just watched your missing out there is alot of most everything muzzleloader being shot allday for a week. i spoke to a guy at the trap range who shot over 25 lb of blackpowder this week in a 12 guage wow.

Congrats guys, excellent shooting and a great time for sure... 400 Parkers downrange that's pricey! But whole lot of fun. Divided by 3 shooters helps. Ive spent alot more and had less enjoyment.

Congratulations Jeff, the pictures really put things in perspective. Thats some incredible shooting considering you are allowed only one anchor point and you did it shooting over sticks. I know you do it for personal satisfaction, but you guys should be sponsored by Blackhorn and Parker, and the rifle manufacturer, ha ha. Keep up the good work. Ray

Iam still thinking about 15 shots in 45 minutes.....there is no rifle shooting sabots that could get cooled off quick enough in that weather to shoot with you guys. I had a Snap-on vortex choke cooler that could blow 30 degree air out in seconds, but it required a large air compressor and storage tank. I could picture a rod cooler holding 20 cooling rods and a guy trying to clean between shots, which would be required to get the rods down, and then putting several rods down within a minute or so, just my wierd imagination, I guess. Anyway, that is some great shooting under those conditions, Ray

Great shooting. Hope Dougs had a wee bit of hand in helping all along the way. Great combo of equipment and hard holders on the line. Impressive! Thanks for the post, pix and info. 10

I'd want to completely clean and lubricate a barrel after that process...........
