Forkhorn,
Do you mean Bullberry does the work for Stratton? Or are you saying this is another option for the hanger system?
They appear to be different hangar systems. Is one Better than the other?
I have not spoken to Stratton yet, but I don't see mention of any HW having to be attached/fitted to my existing barrel.
Any advice and opinions welcome.... yes I know they (opinions) are priced right at free.

I was just telling you about another company that does this. That is where I had my fore end and barrel done, they do great work and are very good to deal with.

I have a BullBerry /Pacnor with their hangar system and I love it. It is very accurate with 55gn of H4198 a light blue harvester and a 200gn sst. I have shot a 5/8" group @ 200 yds with it. Drop

I have a first run Encore ML, bought the first year they came out. Had my fair share of getting it to shoot. Free floated the barrel, installed a over sized Bellum pin, had a trigger job done also. But the single biggest accuracy improvement I made was using BH209, with out doubt. It's now a solid 1 to 1.1/8" gun with 120grns by volume BH209, 300grn XTP's, and Harvester smooth black sabots. It has superb bluing and gorgeous walnut. I'm only guessing, but my QLA must have been done correctly.
That said, I recently bought a used but like NIB, Knight Extreme muzzleloader, SST/Lam model with the modified 209 adaption kit and breach plug installed. Now I don't say this lightly, I don't own a more accurate rifle. My knight in .45 cal will shoot sub MOA with loads of BH209 from 100 to 130 grains by volume and 200 grain SST's knurled and Harvester blue sabots. But what truly amazes me is it always prints the same type of grouping, two touching forming one large hole, one slightly higher and to the left, the third impacts center right a hairs width from the other two. All I did to my Knight was install a scope and shoot it. My Knight is one of the purest forms of shooting joy I have ever experienced.
Sorry, not trying to hijack the thread, but I love my Knight.

Yes, they are different hanger systems. Not too familiar with Bullberry's design so I don't know if one is better than the other. I believe Steve worked for or with Bullberry at one time, so he probably did whatever he could to improve on the design. Steve's hanger bar is attached to the barrel using the existing holes, and he can explain it better than I can. Call him, he's a nice guy and won't bite!

I have a call into him just waiting to hook up on return call I missed him once
Also being new I have to ask / confirm my understanding when a post refers to bullberry/pacnor. Or bullberry/douglas I assume bullberry allows u to choose your barrel maker and then fabricates to the encore platform?
Also Does bullberry make these ready for smokeless or do u have to order a 45-70 and then have Slufoot Luke or another do a plug conversion ?
Based on what I read mgm barrels are done this way because mgm won't deal with u otherwise ?

Bullberry makes their own ML. www.bullberry.com/black-powder-barrel-details.htmli ordered a 45-70 Pacnor and then shipped it to Jeff Hankins for conversion using his ignition system. You will need to order one of their forearms too.
