I'm def going to try and get the Barnes 195 shooting I planned on that being my hunting bullet . . once I get them shooting the only thing I worry about is wind drift with them being light. I hunt marshes a lot here on the eastern shore and the wind never seems to take a break . hopefully I can catch a break from work and do some shooting before summer hits

It is slightly less loading pressure but its not like there going down the barrel with ease. Maybe I can try to knurl them heavier. If even possible . they were knurled pretty heavy With your best guesstimate, would you say they went down with light (easy one hand push), medium light (easy two hand push), medium (Bit more effort two hand push), medium hard (quite a bit of effort two hand push) or hard effort (holy smokes this is hard)? Did you go straight to knurling or did you try them un-knurled first? I have my best luck saboted with medium light loading effort. I have never had to knurl to get the 195bx to shoot sub moa. When you go back out, I'd back the powder charge down like discussed before, then shoot three un-knurled, three lightly knurled (just roughed up enough to grip the sabot a bit) then three with your heavy knurl. Find the one that shoots best, then focus on using that and upping the powder charge a grain at a time until you find the best combination of accuracy and sabot integrity.

I would say the first half was medium then medium light until seated . I did shoot one that was not knurled and it keyholed .I'm going to weigh up some powder tonight and hopefully shoot tom if I don't have to work.

If you have SR4759, give the 10/50 load with 4198 a try. It may just fix your problem. Can't hurt if your going to the range anyway.
