I went up to 75gr H4895. One of the 4895's is faster then the other according to the burn rate chart. I believe according to QL the pressure was to be around 50,000. Its the max I wanted to go however I did not experience bulged primers, sticking primers or any problems. This was with a Savage Target Action using a 209 bolt head, Savage plug and .030 bushing.
Ohioguy might be able to chime in here. I believe the 10x load of 10/50 4759-10x gives 100% burn. I know it burned clean when I shot it last outing.

Yes the Hodgdon is 2 ticks faster then the IMR, not sure what QL says for the IMR load. Thanks

You're off to a promising start for sure, congrats on the build. One of my guns liked 4759/Varget with the 195 barnes, the other shot better with N110/Varget and the 200SST or 240 CEB. (Both of the guns shot better groups while using a wool wad under the bullet vs. not using a wad). I also shot some loads of 4759/H4350 that showed some signs of promise. I plan to get a good bit of bench time with 4 complete different 40 cal set ups very soon. It will be interesting to see what combos work and which ones don't. I have a much bigger selection of powders to try out this year, as well as a couple new 40 cal guns. (All of my guns use a savage .030 bushing plug.)
