Thanks guys, I'm glad you are excited. I'm a little frustrated right now. Like anything new there is a learning process. Doing it today made me mad and I had to go slam out a run and workout to get myself back on track. Here are the 5 ugliest, 1 each, at the representative weights from 291gn to 330gn. I scrapped everything below 290gn as I don't think it will work in this design. They swaged at .458, then were sized at .454, .452, and then full formed in my .451 die: These would all be blems right now in my opinion. I need to uniform the meplats but am not going to do that until I have shot some and can validate stability and initial precision. Right now there are bigger issues than the tips to worry about. Here are the dies used to make the bullets at .458:

Don't get too frustrated, you surely had a better first day than a lot of guys that have attempted this challenge. I'll bet you will get the system figured out very quickly and have very few blems from that point on.
