Just went and did it. I put a rail on the bottom of the forearm on the 6. None of the holes lined up but Now I have a quick disconnect bi-pod and the sling stays attached. it seams to shoulder ok but I'll test it out in the field this weekend. The forearm on the 250 is shorter and not as much room. I did use the original stud hole and added a longer rail I need to get a "Rail" sling mount ( on the way ) and I'll be able to use the same pods on both for now I will attach the sling to the pod on the 250.
BOY I'm going to have to watch !!! A 243 WILL chamber in the 6

I was at a gun show in Southern New York this past weekend and was looking to perhaps find you some Rem .6MM unfired brass . HA ! HA ! HA ! Very little brass of any caliber . Some bullets... of course nothing that a hunter/reloader might need .A fair amount of the common powders and primers but a line 40 people long to get the powder and primers at the single dealer . One table with Mexican Aguilla .22 ammo and a single brick of Remington Thunderbolt .22's at another table ... at $65.00 . Not much better at this side of the world . Chris
