I'm looking for two screw types that are very hard to get. I am converting my Slufoot conversion to a on board ramrod. I have the ML forend and ram rod adapter studs. TC sent me #6x somthing x .188 screws to mnt. the studs to the barrel. My barrel is a TC Custom Shop 45-70 and the forend holes are for a #8-40 screw. so that is one set of screws I need, 8-40x.188. TC also sent me the forend screws which are 1/4-28 x 1/2' long which don't even protrude from the inside of the forend so they don't even make any contact with the adapter studs. I need a 1/4-28 x 5/8 then cut them back so the RR will clear. I will need to file the barrel groove down a bit because of the barrel taper in the area of that rear stud. This project has turned into way more than I anticipated all because a couple screws. If anyone has these screws I will gladly pay for them. If anyone has any input on hanging a RR on a 45-70 barrel input away please.

I was thinking about epoxying the RR studs to the barrel. Any thoughts on this?

I used to do a lot of RC modeling. I bought most of my fasteners from this place. they should have pretty much whatever you need micro fasteners

I was thinking about epoxying the RR studs to the barrel. Any thoughts on this? Epoxy to back up/be permanent threaded stuff OK but not to just hold it on unless it's the kind like a barrel band on 700ML or the old 30-30 barrel/magazine tube band. 10
